This project was completed as part of the coursework in the Red River College Graphic Design Program. It’s a logo redesign and brand refresh for the Winnipeg Humane Society.
The logo features the abbreviated form of the brand name, with a triangular shape above to hint at animal ears, as well as subtle whiskers to the side. The warm colour palette used gives the branding a soft and welcoming vibe as well, to fit in with the organization’s values.
The point of the project was to get practice designing simple, yet effective logos. Through the use of mock-up’s, a variety of realistic applications can be seen to further ensure the logo works and is effective.
